QDub Terms and Conditions

Welcome to QDub! These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of QDub’s real-time translation services and set out the legal obligations between you and QDub, a product of Qorden. By using QDub, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.

1. Definitions

In these Terms, “we,” “us,” “our,” and “QDub” refer to the QDub app and its parent company, Qorden. “You” and “User” refer to anyone using our app and services.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using QDub, you agree to abide by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any other policies referenced herein. If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use the app.

3. Service Overview

QDub is a real-time translation app that enables users to communicate across language barriers. While we strive to provide accurate translations, QDub is not responsible for any errors or inaccuracies in translations. The service is intended for personal and non-commercial use unless otherwise agreed upon in a separate written contract.

4. User Account and Eligibility

  • To use QDub, you may need to create an account and provide certain personal information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
  • By creating an account, you affirm that you are at least 13 years of age. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have obtained consent from a parent or legal guardian to use the service.
  • You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration and to update your information as needed.

5. License to Use the App

QDub grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

  • Copy, modify, or create derivative works based on QDub.
  • Use QDub for any unlawful purpose or in a manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the service.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the app, related systems, or networks.

6. Fees and Payment

While QDub offers basic features for free, certain premium features or services may be subject to fees. If you choose to use such paid features, you agree to pay the fees as specified at the time of purchase. All payments are non-refundable, unless stated otherwise.

7. User Content and Data

  • Ownership: You retain ownership of any content you submit through QDub, including audio and text inputs for translation. By using the service, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, process, and store this content solely for the purpose of providing the translation services.
  • Prohibited Content: You agree not to submit any content that is illegal, defamatory, offensive, or infringes upon the rights of others. We reserve the right to remove or restrict access to any content that violates these Terms.

8. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in and to the app, including copyrights, trademarks, and service marks, are owned by QDub or its licensors. You are granted no right or license to use any of QDub’s trademarks without our prior written consent.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

QDub provides its services on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free, secure, or operate without interruption. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, QDub shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use or inability to use the app. This includes, but is not limited to, damages for errors, inaccuracies, loss of data, loss of profits, or any other intangible losses.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless QDub, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your use of the app, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any intellectual property or other rights of any person or entity.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to QDub at our discretion, without notice, if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we deem harmful to the service or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the app will immediately cease, and you must delete all copies of the app from your devices.

13. Changes to the Terms

QDub may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the effective date. Your continued use of the app after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the use of QDub shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Dubai Courts.

15. Miscellaneous

  • Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue to be valid and enforceable.
  • Waiver: Failure by QDub to enforce any right or provision in these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
  • Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and QDub regarding your use of the app.
